ESTONE - Matter as an idea
Nature offers itself to us, its elements, its harmony, its explosive grace. Admiring it is a privilege, respecting it is our duty. Its synthesis is a dogma. We don’t know it. We continue to explain it. This is our ambition: to attempt a synthesis that will be nature, that will be true living matter. That will be a homage to its perfection. We study the elements, break them down, put them back together, until we glimpse a complete whole made of curves, volumes, depths and flat surfaces: only a slab of rock can enclose within itself the preciousness of infinite details and the simplicity of a single, united substance, the essence and expression of all time and space.
