The restyling of the showroom in the Eiffelgres office building brought open, airy spaces and more light into the showroom thanks to demolition of an existing floor to permit the volume to expand upwards.
The showroom, divided into three separate but adjoining exhibition areas, showcases the Sensible and Atmosphere collections in a special exhibition, with a single area designed like a sort of art exhibition representing all the other collections in the Eiffelgres range.
Appointment in Le Havre on May 28, 29 and 30 for Grand Ouest, the annual meeting focusing on interior architecture and decoration organised by the architects’ union of western France.
Eiffelgres will be at the event once again along with interior and exterior decorators and suppliers of finishes of all kinds for architecture, presenting a number of porcelain stoneware collections from the Estyle and Estone lines including Sensible and Atmosphere.
The Sensible collection and the works of Sol Lewitt will share a single space and the attention of the many architects and designers who will be attending “Sol Lewitt Vernissage” in Cologne in April 23.
During “Art Cologne”, the one-week modern and contemporary art fair held at the Cologne Exhibition Centre April 21 through 25, Sensible will encounter the works of the artist who inspired the design of the collection at The New Yorker Hotel.
Lightness has won at Superstudio’s Studio 2. Eiffelgres suggests another way of presenting porcelain stoneware tiles. The product becomes even more active and dynamic for the occasion. This is why we feel like we’re going into some kind of strange gym in which products are suspended from wall bars and lowered from above.
From advertising graphics to the appearance of company spaces and the final form of a product, a brand with a recognisable, consistent style is the best guarantee of product quality and reliability in the consumer’s eye. The AEG technicians in Berlin already knew this in the early twentieth century when they appointed P. Behrens to produce the company’s first catalogues and brochures, later assigning him the task of designing its workspaces and showrooms as well as a number of its products. And Adriano Olivetti knew this in Ivrea in the nineteen-thirties, when, with the aid of prominent personalities on the arts scene of his day, he introduced a true concept of market image for his company’s products.
The twenty-eighth CEVISAMA, an event focusing on ceramics for architecture, natural stone and bathroom furnishings, is coming up in Valencia, Spain February 9 through 12. Eiffelgres will be there to present its Sensible collection in a stand designed by architect Bellei and shared with Technokolla, makers of stuccos and products for laying ceramic materials.
