New 2010 GENERAL CATALOGUE

From advertising graphics to the appearance of company spaces and the final form of a product, a brand with a recognisable, consistent style is the best guarantee of product quality and reliability in the consumer’s eye. The AEG technicians in Berlin already knew this in the early twentieth century when they appointed P. Behrens to produce the company’s first catalogues and brochures, later assigning him the task of designing its workspaces and showrooms as well as a number of its products. And Adriano Olivetti knew this in Ivrea in the nineteen-thirties, when, with the aid of prominent personalities on the arts scene of his day, he introduced a true concept of market image for his company’s products.

When Eiffelgres approaches the design of an apparently simple item such as a General Catalogue, it is aware how important brand image is for prestige, and this is why the company pursues its goals for aesthetic and technical quality every year, backed up by professionals with skills in a variety of areas....

CEVISAMA 2010

The twenty-eighth CEVISAMA, an event focusing on ceramics for architecture, natural stone and bathroom furnishings, is coming up in Valencia, Spain February 9 through 12. Eiffelgres will be there to present its Sensible collection in a stand designed by architect Bellei and shared with Technokolla, makers of stuccos and products for laying ceramic materials....

SENSIBLE

Close observation of two particular themes and their subsequent superimposition gives rise to the textures distinguishing the Sensible collection. The Sign surface is inspired by the geometry of a very precise form of artistic expression linked with conceptual use of pure sign, which in the case of Sensible Sign lightly etches the surfaces to create distinct perceptive readings which vary depending on the origin of the light and the observer’s point of view. In Sensible Rise, wiry forms emerge out of the depths, like the roots of certain plants that come up out of the earth, or an object rising up to the surface of the water: only a part of either is visible.
With Sensible, Eiffelgres turns to the most various and curious products of nature, reinterpreting them in the vocabulary of art. With technology it then manages to mould the ideas, sensations and impressions of matter.
The tiles in the Sensible collection, expressly oriented toward dialogue with contemporary architecture, are made with selected earths and minerals, skilfully dosed and mixed, offered in the sizes 90x60, 90x30, 90x15, 60x60 and 60x30 cm, 11 mm thick, with a single gauge, squared-off and ground, with three surface finishes: Sign, Rise, Bushhammered.
Sensible combines excellent aesthetic quality, achieved using pure selected blends, with ultra-high technical performance thanks to advanced industrial processes and careful controls.
The entire collection, in six colours and three surface finishes, is perfectly suited to creation of floor and wall coverings for both residential and commercial settings or for public places requiring not only high aesthetic quality but top technical performance, meaning dependability and safety....

The Iris Ceramica S.p.A. group in Switzerland. Eiffelgres refurbishes Geneva's Migros Shopping Centre.

Eiffelgres has refurbished the Migros shopping centre in Nyon La Combe, Switzerland, just a short distance from Geneva.

A member of the Iris Ceramica S.p.A. group, the company from Modena specialises in manufacturing "Technical Vitrified Stoneware" for high-end applications and has fully renovated around 10,000 m2 of the large 3-floor shopping centre.

This has involved repaving the malls on two floors, the entire food hall and the entrance to the car parks with the materials Argent and Corton in a natural finish, thus utilising unique, high-tech systems to reproduce two stones: one Spanish (Argent) and the other French (Corton).
There are three sizes: 30x30, 30x60 and 60x60 cm, the extremely rare 60x30 of the food hall being particularly worthy of note....

Eiffelgres, the news about the latest established company in the Iris group

A few important changes have occurred in the management staff at Eiffelgres (Iris Ceramica S.p.A. Group) early in 2004.

The company, which is relatively new, was founded in 2001 by Mr. Romano Minozzi and has been managed since by Mrs. Federica Minozzi.

The production plant is located at Viano, in the province of Reggio Emilia, and extends over an area of 94,000 square metres, with a built up area of 45,000 square metres. It cost a total investment of over 50 million Euro to complete.
At full production the plant will be able to produce over 5 million square metres of manufactured stone, marble, and granite slabs per year. Moreover, it is equipped with an innovative system of vertical raw material storage, made up of 1,036 containers that allow computerised dosing of all the components used in production.
At present this plant is the most advanced in the world for the production of "Technical Porcelain stoneware".

After the inauguration of the plant on 28th June 2003, in the presence of the President of the European Commission, Prof. Romano Prodi, restructuring works were also completed on the administrative and commercial head office at Fiorano, Via Radici in Piano 9-11.

The news never stops.
Carlo Ravazzini, a professional with long years of experience in the ceramics sector was appointed Managing Director of Eiffelgres early in January.
He will be assisted by Oberdan Cassanelli, sales manager for Italy, Marco Biagini, sales manager for the Belgian, French, and Swiss markets, Giovanni Barbolini, sales manager for USA and Massimiliano Nasi, sales manager for the European markets of English and German language...

Eiffelgres launches the Client Partnership Campaign

New production plant

The new Eiffelgres last generation production plant is located at Viano in the province of Reggio Emilia. The factory that used to produce Semigres has been dismantled completely.

Instead of the old plants, a technology which is at present the most advanced in the world in the production of 'Technical Porcelain stoneware' has been installed.
The plant at Viano is considered to have the most advanced technology by the most qualified engineers in the sector, and has involved a total investment of over 50 million Euro.

Production is also characterised by a great respect for the environment since the raw materials used are completely natural and the production process highly 'ecological'.
The manufacturing process is governed by dedicated advanced software programmes. It is no surprise that employees are only in charge of technical and intellectual tasks.
At full production the plant will be able to produce over 5 million square metres per year of manufactured stone, marble, and granite slabs .

Eiffelgres' investments in research and innovation amount to 5 million Euro per year. This is also to guarantee users unique, artistically refined, top quality materials.

The materials produced by Eiffelgres are guaranteed for "200 years" and are materials in full thickness, in other words the veins and patterns on the surface extend through the entire thickness of the slab.
They are stones, marbles, and granites for architecture and design, and also for the most demanding clients. They are destined to leave a strong mark in time....
