Eiffelgres Adds Helsingborg Law Courts (Sweden) to its list of references
Helsingborg, Swedish shopping, industrial and service centre that receives visitors from Denmark, has added a new building of great distinction to its already significant urban architectural heritage consisting of the old town that grew up around the marketplace, neo-Gothic buildings, parks and museums.
Indeed, the new headquarter of the Law Courts has won the first prize as the best project carried out in Sweden in 2004. The prize has been awarded to the company Svenska Kakel AB in May 2005 and rewards the innovative choice of construction methods and materials. This is a further recognition to Eiffelgres, the leading manufacturer of "technical vitrified stoneware" slabs, that was responsible for the facade of the Law Courts with its dressed 30 x 30 Black Absolute. The material has been chosen by the firm of architects Carl-Âke Bergström, Ecoscape AB for its inimitable darkness, the only shade capable of blending in with the building's light granite whilst emphasising its shapes and sizes. It fits perfectly with the choices of the contemporary architecture and décor: aluminium, glass, metal, wood, plastic and along with these materials it helps to create style and trend.
Black Absolute is a product of the Eiffelgres laboratories obtained using exclusive technological processes at the world's most modern production works, resulting in slabs that offer extraordinary performance specifications: frostproof, stainproof, acid-resistant, weatherproof, perfectly sized and level, easy installation and maintenance, manufactured with various processes using exclusively natural raw materials. For this reason, Eiffelgres materials are becoming increasingly popular in large urban redevelopment projects and new public and commercial buildings throughout the world.
