Eiffelgres, the news about the latest established company in the Iris group
A few important changes have occurred in the management staff at Eiffelgres (Iris Ceramica S.p.A. Group) early in 2004.
The company, which is relatively new, was founded in 2001 by Mr. Romano Minozzi and has been managed since by Mrs. Federica Minozzi.
The production plant is located at Viano, in the province of Reggio Emilia, and extends over an area of 94,000 square metres, with a built up area of 45,000 square metres. It cost a total investment of over 50 million Euro to complete.
At full production the plant will be able to produce over 5 million square metres of manufactured stone, marble, and granite slabs per year. Moreover, it is equipped with an innovative system of vertical raw material storage, made up of 1,036 containers that allow computerised dosing of all the components used in production.
At present this plant is the most advanced in the world for the production of "Technical Porcelain stoneware".
After the inauguration of the plant on 28th June 2003, in the presence of the President of the European Commission, Prof. Romano Prodi, restructuring works were also completed on the administrative and commercial head office at Fiorano, Via Radici in Piano 9-11.

Carlo Ravazzini, a professional with long years of experience in the ceramics sector was appointed Managing Director of Eiffelgres early in January.
He will be assisted by Oberdan Cassanelli, sales manager for Italy, Marco Biagini, sales manager for the Belgian, French, and Swiss markets, Giovanni Barbolini, sales manager for USA and Massimiliano Nasi, sales manager for the European markets of English and German language
