Description of surfaces

The images are clear examples of the different finishes, which are independent from the marked product

Rough
Rough

Rough

Rough is a structured texture with dots in relief, particularly suitable for use outdoors and wherever a high friction coefficient is required. All surfaces can be used on either floors or walls, indoors or outdoors, in residential, commercial or public buildings .

Sign
Sign

Sign

The Sign surface can be read in two distinct ways: viewing the product from different perspectives, the texture is either accentuated or totally disguised, making it seem like a uniform plain surface. This change is only visible when the slab is tilted at a certain angle with regard to the observer.

Rise
Rise

Rise

The Rise surface highlights subtle reliefs spawned by the Sign surface: filiform outcrops emerge, composing an evolution on the initial texture that creates a new one.

Polished
Polished / Glossy

Polished / Glossy

Polishing with diamond-tipped grinders on wet material makes the surface perfectly flat, smooth and shiny.

Matt / Honed
Matt / Honed

Matt / Honed

A light brushing eliminates the slight unevenness of the surface of the material that forms during the firing cycle to give it a semi-matt look and a soft feel.

Patina
Patina

Patina

A semi-matt surface with a smooth feel. Various abrasive utensils are applied to the dry material after firing.

Ancient honed
Ancient honed

Ancient Honed

Treatment with abrasive strips and water gives the material a semi-glossy finish like that of stones worn away by time.

Bush-hammered / Quarry cut
Bush-hammered / Quarry cut

Bush-hammered / Quarry cut

An irregular, rough surface created directly after pressing using special pads which give it a non-slip finish particularly suitable for outdoor use.

Aspera
Aspera

Aspera

Irregular structured surface featuring a variable depth of the troughs, similar to the typical surface created on splitting natural stone. Non-slip surfaces.
