SPARKASSE - HANAU - Focus OnCountries: GERMANY  The Sparkasse project in Hanau, Germany features use of porcelain stoneware tiles from Eiffelgres’ Lastranera collection. The material perfectly reproduces natural slate, with its lead black colour and three-dimensional surface effects typical of cleft sedimentary rock, combining its natural aesthetic appearance with the advanced technical properties that may be achieved with carefully planned, sophisticated industrial production. Used in the 60X60 size for the bank’s flooring, with a total surface area of 350 m2, this material is perfectly well-adapted to the needs of a public space because it is characterised by both power and elegance: a perfect example of how strength and beauty can coexist in a single product.
